Can I change my registered email address?

Yes. Simply visit the account section of your settings page and follow the instructions.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password at any time by visiting your settings page. This can be found by clicking your name in the top right hand corner of the window and selecting settings from the drop down menu. Password settings are found in the account section of this page.

What happens to my data when my subscription expires?

Your data is stored indefinitely, ready to be accessed again by you should you renew your subscription.

What happens when my trial expires?

When a trial expires, all data gathered during the trial for that module is preserved for you. This means that should you choose to subscribe to that module at a later date, all of the progress you made during that time will be available. You can, of course, reset this should you wish.

How do I convert from a trial to a full subscription?

You’ll to wait until the trial period has expired and then purchase a subscription from the subscribe page. All data collected during your trial period will be carried over to your new subscription so you can continue to answer questions during this time.

Usage

What are these strange symbols / emoticons?

There is an odd display problem that occurs to a small subset of users on iOS devices (e.g. the iPhone and iPad) whereby the checkmark, cross and star icons that appear in certain locations on our site (such as in the navigator during a rapids exam or whilst displaying a summary of your performance in a rapids exam) are displayed incorrectly. They may appear as palm trees, bars of soap or other random icons.

This is due to a bug in the iOS version of Safari that causes these symbols to be rendered incorrectly if (and seemingly only if) you happen to have a certain Emoji app installed on the device. The only solution is to uninstall the app.

The functionality of our site is not affected in anyway. This bug is known to Apple, applies only to iOS7 and other websites have incurred this issue.
